Pursue Your Dream


Hey,

Do you have a dream? Of course, majority will say that, but just a little who have the balls to pursue their dream. I want to tell you a real life story about Tania Gunadi.

She's an Indonesian born-actress who went to USA after she won a green card lottery in the year of 2000 right after she finished her senior high school in Bandung, Indonesia.  In the first couple of years in USA, she struggle to life in high cost life in USA, so she started to do a part time job. Tania got a job as a telephone receiver at Pizza Hut. One day, she mistranslated customers pizza order. As a result, her position was then slipped into a chef. Can not distinguish the sauce and chili sauce, Tania had a downgrade position to became a dishwasher. Considered to have failed to clean dirty dishes, Tania was forced to work in the toilet.

She was crying and thought that she can be rich in USA but instead had to clean the toilet. She didn't give up and just flew away back to Indonesia instead she tried so hard to become rich and famous in USA. She began pursuing her acting career after booking her first role in a commercial for Disneyland. Since then, her television credits include guest starring and recurring roles in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Boston Public, The Inside, Even Stevens, and series regular roles in FOX Wiener Park (pilot), DISNEY XD Aaron Stone, and  filming in Los Angeles for an exciting new TV series. The most recent film that she is doing right now is Mymusic as a main role player act as Techno.

She was interviewed by many radio, magazine, and television include CNN. She is pursuing her dream to become an actress and become rich and famous. She also a passionate philanthropist and works hard to ensure that the many charitable events and foundations she believes in are taken care. She hosting Pasar Senggol Indonesia benefitting Roslin Orphanage, a local orphanage in West Timor that provides food, shelter and education to more than 45 children. She also Building wells, giving food and providing financial support to less fortunate people in small villages in Java, Indonesia. She also Volunteering for Read Across America, a motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading, and many other charitable events. 

I want to tell you that you have a big dream but you need to pursue it. You can see Tania now in her success life, but do you know how hard she struggle to get this kind of life that she's been dreaming?

What have you done in order to pursue your dream? and what will you do to get closer to your dream? You live only once, why don't make it meaningful for your self and for others.
